Mad Track Cycling

Mad Track Cycling is bringing new energy to the adrenaline-fueled sport of Madison Team Racing, originally created in 1899 at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City. Riders reach jaw-dropping speeds of up to 40 mph—on brakeless bikes—racing around a 1/10th-mile track in 10 seconds or less.

The track itself features 15-degree banking on the straightaways and a steep 50-degree banking in the turns, designed for maximum speed and excitement. Events include high-intensity Madisons, Chases, Eliminations, and the fan-favorite Keirins.

Cyclists from across the U.S. and around the world converge at the Olympic-style Lexus Velodrome in Detroit, Michigan—home of Mad Track Arena. Experience the thrill live in person or stream all the action online at MadTrackCycling.com.
